'The Shape of Stories'
"I think these are brilliant prompts to help our students see, consider and talk about the ‘shape of stories’. In doing so, it can bring to life sterile analysis of structure into something more meaningful."

Do you stammer and use e-mails/video calls for work or school? @stammer has sign-offs & video backgrounds to help raise stammering awareness & encourage openness about our speech. I use one on my University e-mail. 'It's how I talk' 👇🏻🗣️

When I recorded this, I never imagined that this video would be viewed as widely as it has 😳.
I love hearing stories of how students find this b/d trick useful (and that some even teach their friends!)

Tool of the Week
Activity Ideas
Private Practice Tips
On moving into a new role with new responsibilities in a new clinical system, I’ve been going through notebooks that hold about 10 years’ of coaching & supportive conversations. Working with people & with my own tendencies takes constant practice but I know what I’m trying to do. https://

Good listeners do not judge or impose solutions. They do ask good questions.

There is no single best interview question. Instead:
1) Identify skills & traits you need
2) Ask about past behavior around those
3) Follow-up with probing questions
4) Ask everyone the same thing
Here's some great questions to ask depending on your goals. httpsaintpeters.edu/wp-content/upl…p— Ethan Mollick (@emollick)

As an OT I don’t think employment is an outcome for all people. Every person autistic or not has value not based on productivity or “usefulness to society”.
If someone wants employment; fine, but also work is so inaccessible— Hannah OT (@HannahtheOT)
