And nor should we be. We’ve got this!
1. 🆓 Resources
Something I use a lot to support teaching grammar is the POS tagger. It's free and it's really useful if you're not confident with teaching aspects of grammar. It's a good way to discuss grammar in context and make it visible. #educationparts-of-speech.info

One of my favorite IES resources are the practice guides. There are 5 guides with the research about teaching math. Given the two stop work orders I received last night (to stop work on 2 upcoming IES STEM practice guides), I'd download these now.

My tips for teaching morphology:
-Focus on high frequency suffixes
-Explicitly teach the three main suffixes spelling rules
-Focus on how these rules interact with phonics.
-Provide tons of spelling practice linked to morphemes
-Teaching the meaning is helpful, but don’t turn… x.com/i/web/status/1…— Nate Joseph (@NateJoseph19)

6. ❣️ Client views & 😍 for speech pathology!
How does the presence of older siblings influence the development of language?
This lovely video brought my mind immediately to research on the topic.
There is some consensus that the presence of one or more siblings can correlate with slightly slower* language development… x.com/i/web/status/1…

It always stuck me as interesting that the very first things people felt comfortable giving over to AI to do for them were the most intimate things: birthday cards, wedding speeches, children’s stories, eulogies (yes, really).
