New research to level up your practice: effects of COVID on early language development; and joint attention during naturalistic play

We have a new paper out in @CurrentBiology where we found that children with ASD engage in joint attention at typical rates during naturalistic toy play! They use hand-following rather than gaze-following pathways to get there, similar to their TD peers.

A speech pathologist friend diagnosed some speech issues with my 3yo & provided us with some exercises to do. 3yo had 1st session with speech path today & she could see the improvement he has already made!
