A hot tip for those of us struggling with paywalls
Next time you hit a paywall when searching for a journal article, try using oaDOI. Putting 'oa' in front of the article’s DOI in your search bar (oadoi.org/10…) will take you to a free version of an entire article if it’s available. Give it a try! #SLP#AuD#OpenSci

More evidence that dummies and finger-sucking have no long-term effects on speech
Great talk from @SamBurrSLT at #ESLA2022 on non-nutritive sucking re: no long term impact on speech development was found.
Why is this important? When clinicians communicate such findings to families they can make fully informed decisions regarding their children.

New perspective
Cookie Monster has forward facing eyes mounted high upon his head.
This suggests Cookie Monster is a submerged, ambush predator.
Just something to consider.
